Selling your property in February is a great idea as the housing market has begun to pick back up in January after the New Years and even more so in February. Spring tends to be the busiest time of year for selling properties, therefore listing your property early can increase your chances of getting your property sold. 

Here are some tips to prepare your property for a February sale:  

Tip 1: Think about re-designing the entrance  

Think about the entrance to the property as the entrance always sets the first impression. You can paint the front door to give it a cleaner look and you can also have a think about tidying up the garden if there is one. To attract more potential buyers, you can also add an outdoor stove and chairs.  

Tip 2: Early spring clean  

Although it is still not spring, you can still thoroughly clean the property. Clean property is important as it will show that the property has been well cared for and reassure potential homebuyers that the property is up to standard and unlikely to experience mould issues.  

Tip 3: Inspect the property  

Ensure you take some time to walk through the house and inspect the property thoroughly. You should take pictures of areas that may need attention or things that may need repairing. Think about spending some money to improve the property, but ensure that you do not overspend on such adjustments.
